Planting has begun on the ACORN Memorial Orchard at the ACORN Farm in the Lower 9th Ward of New Orleans thanks to the generous donations we recently received. Pecans and citrus planted in the ground. There will be 30 trees of various varieties. Thanks to the Permaculture Club for their help, as well as Zee Thornton and Chaco Rathke.
