Gig Workers
Working from the perspective of social security, rights, entitlements and dignity, Janpahal has been working with platform-based gig workers and building an understanding of their working conditions and social security needs. The organization conducts research while engaging stakeholders in the government such as the Ministry of Labour Resources, Govt. of Bihar, Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi and VV Giri National Labour Institute, NOIDA, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Govt. of India.
Securing the best outcomes for platform-based gig workers in collaboration with stakeholders, Janpahal aims to realize the collective vision of G-20 nations.
