More and more collectives and unions joined the Locataires Ensemble federation: Grenoble, Échirolles, Lyon, Pierre-Bénite, Aubervilliers, Plaisir, Gonesse, Montpellier… In 2025, we will keep fighting to push back against injustices and secure housing that truly meets our rights!

Over 200 elected officials, local government staff, associations, researchers, and citizens came together to build non-repressive spaces in support of citizen interpellations.

Alliance Citoyenne Secures Rehousing Without Rent Increases for Families Displaced by Fire
This month, Alliance Citoyenne advocated for several tenant families, including a young mother who was left homeless after a fire. The tenants’ union Locataires Ensemble immediately mobilized and organized a rally of support. The collective action paid off: the landlord offered rehousing solutions without any increase in rent for the tenants. When we fight together, we win!

Alliance Citoyenne, Grenoble: Residents of Géants Square Join Forces to Demand Better Services
In a proactive move, the Committee of Géants has taken steps to assert its concerns. On Tuesday morning, a group of residents from the Géants Square decided to pay a visit to the local office of their social housing provider, Actis. Their purpose: to hand-deliver a letter to the responsible party, reminding the housing provider of its responsibilities in light of the consistently poor quality of services in the area .
