Progress on the ACORN Memorial Orchard
The ACORN Memorial Orchard is going strong at the ACORN Farm in the Lower 9th Ward, New Orleans.
Pecans starting to bud, citrus already blooming with more holes dug for more citrus, and fig tree budding.
ACORN Farm Begins in New Orleans
Work on the ACORN Farm in New Orleans has begun. The ACORN Farm is located in the Lower 9th Ward neighborhood of New Orleans. It will provide fresh food for Fair Grinds Coffeehouse and the community.
